Not to be a straight enjoyer on main AGAIN, but the way we've been cheering and joking abt Melissa "accepting the dark parts" of Shauna... Jeff is in love w that girlie too.

Jeff is a normal -even boring- dude, and he read all this heinous shit Shauna was spewing to her journals, about kinda hating Jackie, about fucking him just off her jackie disfunction, about eating Jackie, then about being envious Nat was chosen like she was owed the leadership, about them slashing Coach's tendons, about using Mel or maybe genuinely liking Mel idk, whatever goes on from the froggers to the pit girl... Jeff read all that shit and decided to love Shauna despite all of it, and not even make her uncomfortable by forcing a conversation about it? He continues to stand by her even when she's back on her murder bullshit and the cops show him pics of the dismembered body of the ex lover? he sits there with that image in his mind, and the retelling of the past dismemberments giving context, and he wakes up and makes pancakes? I love that dude. He's so metal.

Just as present time Van ignores most of Dark Tai's coming and goings, and olden burning of cabins and whatnot... Jeff is like oh Shauna you're off? to murder perhaps? Say hi to the girls. I'll get Callie to school and make a salary so we can have a house.

The whole Star Wars universe is so insane actually it's making my head hurt

Putting aside the fact that the entire galaxy is interconnected via space travel with more cultures and societies than the human mind can comprehend, the history is so, so old. The spacefaring history of the galaxy goes 100,000 years into the past, that's twice as much as the time between today and the extinction of neanderthals. And look how long it took us to figure out space travel, the history of individual planets will be even older. Look how long ago before the movie timeline SWTOR takes place, and there's already so many ancient ruins. No matter how far back you go, there will always be something older. Lost cities, technology, cultures covering the surfaces of planets. Entire civilizations built on whalefalls they believe to be mountains. So many remains of space vessels scattered on planetary surfaces, and even more that were left to float through space forever, their crews long dead. The spaces between planets are vast and there is nothing that would allow corrosion and decay except the UV radiation from stars. Stray too far from regular hyperspace routes and you might encounter these ghosts.

CT-154374A (leads the lexmechanics on the ship and led the tech-priests on the exploration expedition as Pandora's right hand)

He knew Pandora back when she had not yet received the rank of Magos, and he himself was a simple acolyte. Usually, she does not pay attention to those who have not yet become a full-fledged member of the Machine cult. This is not arrogance, but rather a banal lack of interest. But she appreciated CT-154374A's abilities and contributed to his development.

He is a perfectionist to the core, phlegmatic, has management skills and copes with his job perfectly. However, he is too tactful and non-confrontational - and this greatly hinders his career advancement.

Considered a Lexmechanic for his love of organizing information, he has yet to decide which line of research he likes best. During a exploration expedition, Pandora fully appreciated the versatility of his skills. A jack of all trades, to put it bluntly.

Alpha-Xi 0023 (leads a maniple of classiari)

A shining example of the devout native of Forge World who lacked the skills to become tech-priest, but had plenty of fighting spirit. He worked his way up from a common laborer to an alpha-skitarii through long and hard work, trading his own achievements for new augmentations. His track record includes particular effectiveness on the battlefield, participation in the defense of the Ex-beta-734 manufactorum, as well as leading a successful operation to eliminate the leaders of a workers' revolt.

He is fanatical in his faith in the Omnissiah, but otherwise retains a fair amount of humanity. Before Pandora, he had little interaction with magos, but he had heard enough about the experiences of others, and therefore at first he was afraid that she would be wasteful in the matter of using skitarii. Alpha-Xi 0023 feels an excessive responsibility for his subordinates and is extremely prudent. However, magos Pandora has proven herself to be an excellent strategist so far, with her instructions leading the maniple out of battles without a single loss, and therefore he can rest easy.

Theta-000001A (leads cohort of hypaspists)

Unlike Alpha-Xi 0023, he was born to be a Skitarii, and has been trained since childhood. He is quite young and has not yet had time to prove himself in combat, but was appointed to his position due to his excellent performance in training. His cohort are brothers and sisters who grew up with him, and the squad was formed when they were still children.

Faith in the Omnissiah and a sense of his own destiny have been ingrained in his mind over the years of training, as has loyalty to the magos to whom his cohort was later entrusted. Theta-000001A yearns to become an even more perfect instrument of the Machine God, but due to his youth and an unpleasant encounter with one of the elder skitarii as a child, he fears losing his identity in the process. He is quite detached from all things worldly, but feels a strong connection with his subordinates, as if they were a big and strange family (which they are).

Skyfire | Jetfire headcanons for the fic im working on. Im trying to mix some elements from other continueties into his G1 character. And ofc my personal prefernces. im mainly calling him Jetfire due to Skybound.

- he dosent mind carrying others in his shuttle form in of itself as much as he hates it being forced to be his job and all people see him as. If its people he cares about it can be a theoretically pleasant experience, but he never really got to figure that out before his last journey. It brings him a lot of mixed feelings.

- he was forged originally for military transport and got some training in the role, but managed to get into the sciences trough excelling in space exploration which is how shuttles usually gets out of working as transport due to their unique space capabilities as a frame class. (A few continueties gives him a more military background, though hes always a scientist in some way)

- he knew Orion Pax before the expedition that landed him in the ice, they met through Lacons academia with Orion working with them as an archivist (librarian!Optimus ftw!). It took him a moment to actually recognize Optimus when he first properly met him face to face, hes quite different from the Orion he knew. (Based on his pre existing friendship with Optimus in Skybound). Hes unsure on how to approach him now that hes a Prime and has experinced a whole war as the leader of one of the factions while Jetfire was gone.

- He did not actually know Starscream all that much before they got paired on Jetfire's last expedition missons, they grew to be friends over them. Starscream was much more nicer back then.

- Shuttles differ from other flightframes in that they are made for both space travel and long hauls. Some smaller flightframes like jets might get modifications to withstand the heat of atmospheric entry and the power to escape the gravity, but they are rather expensive and energy demanding. Starscream had these modifications before their expedition and was the only reason he managed to make it barely back to Cybertron. Before that he did largerly rely on Jetfire to actually make it across large swatches of space in something resembling a efficient manner.

- While Jetfire specialized on the more larger scales of space exploration and alien planets, he has a passion for xenobiolgy and finds the Earth to be absolutely fascinating. Unfortunately the trauma of being frozen there for so long gets in the way of him properly enjoying it. Its something he struggles with.

- His background pre-sciences does mean he kinda knows how to fight. At least in the role of a large air support. But he does not enjoy it nor are he particulary good at it. He did also carry weapons for self-defense as an scientist for his exploration mission, an unfortunate nessecity required by the academy in his opinion. (Using elements again from that he does participate in fighting in some way in most continueties)

- Hes pretty awful at standing up for himself, but will stand up for others easily. Jetfire is the rather self-sacreficing type. (He literally let himself get reburried in ice again to save others in his first episode in G1). It breaks his spark to see decepticons terrorizing inoccent humans and destroying vunrable enviorments just beacuse they can. (Skybound!Starscream is particulary bad in that area, the series really went hard in that direction wow)

- He finds humans to be very interesting (and quite frankly adorable, though he keeps that to himself in case it would be taken as offensive), but he worries a lot about acidentally scaring (or primus forbid hurting!) them due to his size and can end up a little akward around them due to it. Regularly sized cybertronians are allready big to humans to begin with. Hes very sweet when he frets though.

I am probably not going to be comfortable sharing Silver for a good long while as, believe it or not, this is a ship that's been brewing for twenty something years. Yes, he's been in my heart for that long now, even if I didn't recognize it or post about it in all that time. Now, there have been and will be others, but this is just to say he's the most special to me.

The sad truth is that nothing made me alienate myself more from the Rogue/Gambit ship than the romy people and their visceral reaction to work that is not catered to their vision over the characters/ship.

Fandoms always have their share of toxic people but romy shippers have really reached a new level of entitlement. The amount of hate they show to the creators of a series that hasn’t even come out is just disgusting.
